Important Note: Right now users cannot see the shops - we are giving you guys (creators) a couple of hours to move your items to the new system. We'll be making a news post and explaining the change to them in a few hours :)
Hi everyone! You got an event sending you here if you had any items in the cash shop previously. We've just released a very frequently requested feature, which is letting you open your own shops filled with your custom wearables. I'm going to run through all of the features of these shops, and please ask questions / provide some feedback so we can keep iterating on this to make them even more awesome for you.
Reasons for the change
You manage your CW shop from this management page. Moving your Items Moving items to the cash shop is pretty simple, and similar to before. You can move them from your CW management page. Make sure to read the rules at least once because you cannot remove items from your shop once you move them there. You can set the limit (or price) to 0 which will remove it from the shoppers view.
If you have batches remaining on your item, it will set the item limit to 10*batches and you won't be able to change that. However, you can set the price to 0 at any time to remove them from the shoppers view.
Pricing If you set the price of your item to the base price (the lowest it can go), you get 15% of each sale. If you set it above the base price you get the difference between the base price and your price. Example: Base price is 500CSC. If you set your price at 500CSC you will make 75CSC on each sale. If you set your price for 750CSC you will make 250CSC on each sale.
Passwords Do you have an item that you only want your friends to be able to buy? You can set a master password for that item and give that out, or set a master password (just for yourself) and then invite your friends with the "manage invites" link. Sending invites requires there be a password on the item. This allows you to send a sMail to any user on the site with a randomly generated password just for them.
Categories You can add items into specific categories, as well as set a message for those categories. sCode is allowed, so you have a lot of options for customization!
Followers Users that like your items can choose to follow your shop. When you move a new item into your shop they'll be notified, and you can send an event to them any time to announce a sale, items returning for sale, etc.
Communication Because you can edit the header on the default and each of your categories we hope that makes it easy to easily communicate with your shoppers. You can edit in what your newest items are, what items you're working on and send events when you've updated that information.

I'll be around if any of you run into any questions or concerns with this as well! We're pretty excited about this change, and it will benefit you - the creators! - the most! Please do not hesitate to ask Keith or I any questions, we'll be more than glad to help. Have fun setting up your shops!
[edit] Using this post to go over things mentioned in the thread - PLEASE read the first post and this before posting, it will help a lot with questions!
Since this is getting pushed now, what happens to timed, direct-to-cs releases? x:
I'm a little upset about all those CWs that belong to creators that aren't active on the site anymore, as I doubt all of them will be around to make them available to us :c
...but I'm definitely running there for mines as people want to buy the blood serum for HW and I'm sure it'll be missed.
My question is, the items I put directly into the cash shop I can not add them to this new system. they don't show up in my cw page
will these new shops allow the discount for users during Black Friday sales? Last year the cws were even given a discount but the creators still got the normal cut
I'm confused, what is "full price"?

If you set the price of your item to the base price (the lowest it can go), you get 15% of each sale. If you set it above the base price you get the difference between the base price and your price.
Example: Base price is 500CSC. If you set your price at 500CSC you will make 75CSC on each sale. If you set your price for 750CSC you will make 250CSC on each sale.

also why is 500 the minimum? there are small things like rings, necklaces, etc. that i would probably sell for lower than that.
Also - important note! The items that were made "direct to CS" in the past are currently lost in a void. I'm pushing a change to add them to this system automatically.

Keith was just using 500 CSC as an example - things are still variously priced based off the categories and I worked on! So things can still be as little as 200 CSC (300 CSC selling price in the 'cash shop') and as much as 500CSC (600 CSC to sell)
Having them in your own shop may be a small amount of extra work for you as the creator, but it is still a lot less work than trying to fill individual slots (at least in my opinion - I get tired of that real fast xD). Direct-to-cash-shop will still exist, it will just go directly into your shop without you having to fill the first batch =) This will also work well in case of say, cult-specific or pink group-specific items where the cult or ping group is privy to the password and able to get the items out of shops.
[edit] Just wanted to add - you STILL have the option to fill individual batches! That will always remain. If you only want to do 3 batches an want to do them all the traditional amount - especially because you're concerned about earning a full amount from the 'base price' of a batch (100 CSC instead of 75, etc) - you still have this option available to you =)
My question is, currently there is the option to send straight to CS is that still going to be an option, or do we have to put it through the queue first with slots or just pay for it ourselves before it can be added into our new cw shop? I hope that made sense.
Direct to cash shop (now direct to your shop) is still an option :)

interesting... i'm also wondering about smaller accessories that i'd normally charge less than 500 for, what about those? i do like the changes added from the original idea, especially the 'password' option, that's pretty neat. i'm a little hesitant about this feature for now but i'm totally willing to play around with it (luckily i only have one CW in the cash shop lol!)
(lmao reading my first post I came off too harsh when really I'm just ??? how does work) We don't get the full 500/600/etc, we're only making a percentage of it. I'm just wondering if this is because it's still taking out the 5k CSC it takes to submit a batch per 10 items, rather than just selling individual items after a the first batch is submitted. Because if it is, then I totally get it and the percentage makes total sense.
BUT! How will this handle first batches? Will we be able to submit the first batch of an item through here, or are those still going to be handled via threads in the CW forum?
ok thanks for clearing that up for me.
You can set whatever price you want, though. Usually with the batches you'd still have to pay 400/500/600CSC per item, and then you'd get whatever the person paid on top of that as your cut. That is still the case here? Since you aren't filling slots, the item still costs 300/400/500/whatever the base price is, but now you're given a cut even if you set it at the base (to make up for the 25/50/whatever csc you'd usually get by charging an extra 100CSC per item)

Its not letting me allow for the changed to my foreground items that were in the cash shop, I was trying to put my in for 550 but its not saving, nor did it save the category I made for them.
Thank you for explaining that to me! Everything makes a lot more since to me now; I was just a little confused at first!
Right now with a lot of smaller/cheaper CWs, we see them mostly going into the cash shop (either directly or after an initial batch), where they are being sold for that 15% mark anyway. The biggest thing that benefits are say, backgrounds - a full batch of background costs 5000 CSC to submit, so hypothetically 500 CSC a slot. Most people sell them for 700 CSC a slot, so they're still going to earn 200 CSC per purchase -- it's based off that base price.
For example: Small jewelry costs 2000 for a slot of 10, or 200 CSC a piece. They sell in the cash shop for 300 CSC, earning you 45 CSC a sale. You put them in for 350 CSC - you are earning 150 CSC a sale, not 50 - it goes off the BASE price of the item, not the sale price.
So: 200 CSC item = auto price for 300 CSC = 45 CSC profit 300 CSC item = auto price for 400 CSC = 60 CSC profit 400 CSC item = auto price for 500 CSC = 75 CSC profit 500 CSC item = auto price for 600 CSC = 90 CSC profit
HOWEVER: 200 CSC item = you choose to sell for 400 CSC = 200 CSC profit 500 CSC item = you choose to sell for 700 CSC = 200 CSC profit
I hope that helps explain it a bit better!
